London, Great Britain /19th July 2010 – At the Farnborough International Airshow that took off today near London (Great Britain) Russian Helicopters rotorcraft-manufacturing holding presents its newest projects within the UIC Oboronprom display. Farnborough Airshow is considered one of the world’s largest and traditionally attracts key international aviation industry manufacturers showcasing their up-to-date achievements.
Ulan-Ude/5 July 2010 – Ulan-Ude aviation plant (UUAP), a part of Russian Helicopters, the Russian helicopter industry holding company, is delivering helicopters to UTair ahead of schedule set in the contract.
UUAP delivered two Mi-171 helicopters (in Mi-8AMT version) to UTair in late June, although they were supposed to be delivered in late 3Q 2010 according to contract. Such changes in schedule are due to UTair requiring more aircraft due to an increase in freight traffic.

22 June 2010 – Russian Helicopters (subsidiary of JSC UIC Oboronprom, part of Russian Technologies State Corporation) and AgustaWestland (a Finmeccanica company) are pleased to announce that the set up of a joint civil AW139 medium twin helicopter final assembly plant started with a ground-breaking ceremony, solemnly laying a time capsule in the base of the foundation at the industrial area in Tomilino, near Moscow, during an official ceremony held today and attended by representatives and dignitaries from the partners.

Moscow/1 March 2010 – The Russian helicopter industry continued to increase its output in 2009: Russian Helicopters enterprises produced 183 helicopters for local and international customers, increasing the total by 14 compared to 2008. The 8.3% growth was made possible through a joint effort by all Russian rotorcraft industry specialists.
